Listings
Completing a listing up to publication — photos, description, amenities, base rate and distribution.
A listing is what travellers see. It belongs to a unit, which itself belongs to a property. One unit can carry several listings — one per stay length or per season, say — and a property groups as many units as you need.
What a listing brings together
- Photos — the cover photo is the first publication prerequisite.
- Description and amenities — the text guests read and the list of facilities.
- Pricing — the base rate, the second publication prerequisite.
- Distribution — the channels the listing is published to.
- Translations — the listing in the other languages.
The listing page stacks these blocks one under another, each showing what is missing.
Guides in this section
The pages below follow a listing from content to market: first what the guest reads, then what they pay, finally the platforms where they find you.
- Listing photos and zones — organize the gallery by zone, choose the cover photo, and know what the other surfaces see of your pictures.
- Description, amenities and listing score — write the four description sections, tick the amenities, and read the score that follows.
- Translate and distribute the listing — enter the translations one language at a time, then add the listing to an already-connected platform from the Distribution card.
- Set your rates — base rate, weekend, seasons, length-of-stay discounts, fees and taxes: where each price is set, and the rule that decides the price of a night.
- Dynamic pricing (PriceLabs) — connect your PriceLabs account, enrol a listing, follow the sync, and what the platform has not switched on yet.
- Connect your distribution channels — Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and iCal calendars: the six-step wizard, states that only advance on proof, and the Booking.com reports on a reservation.
